This immersive retreat is an opportunity to step away from daily distractions and deepen your connection to self. Whether you are an experienced practitioner seeking refreshment or you want to deepen your practice, this retreat will supplement your call.

With daily pranayama & breathing sessions, followed by afternoon workshops on various themes, Jelena will guide you through the breath, the body, and the stillness in between.

The retreat is set on the island of Šolta, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the cities of Split and Trogir. It is an island of Ilyrian legends, ancient fish ponds, medieval poetry, rich nautical tradition, and Mediterranean culinary specialties. The beachfront modern villa where the retreat takes place is located in the bay of Nečujam. Mediterranean plants and the island’s calm pace make the surroundings feel more private.

Here, you can start your day with a swim in clear water, take walks along sunny coastal paths, and watch the sun set over the Adriatic in the evening. Also, you can find a market/grocery shop, a restaurant, and a coffee bar within a 5-minute walk.

This retreat is designed for people who want to step out of the everyday hassle and stress by recharging their battery and focusing on themselves so they can be more productive when returning to the real world. Our teacher Jelena, with 10+ years of experience, will guide you through the steps needed to complete your transformative journey. The retreat is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Join us each morning for Ashtanga Yoga and breathing exercises. These sessions will help you build strength, endurance, and flexibility, not just for your body but also for your mind. With additional afternoon workshops, you will further explore the tools and techniques needed to deepen your yoga practice.

Ashtanga Primary series LED class (day 1)
Your first day of the retreat programme will start with Yoga Therapy, also known as the Ashtanga Primary series. This sequence will help you find your alignment and set a positive tone for the upcoming days. This 90-minute intensive yet grounding sequence will support your yoga journey ahead. Jelena will also provide alternative poses and transitions to ensure the practice meets each student’s level.

The Inner World of Asana (day 2 )
In this workshop, Jelena will demonstrate how to apply basic techniques in practice, which sets yoga apart from just being fitness. You will explore the tools needed in order to find stillness and depth in yoga poses. You can expect light practice, mostly based on the standing postures, where you will explore the opposing forces of upward prana and downward apana,

Vinyasa Transitions Workshop (day 3)

Vinyasa is another aspect of yoga practice that involves learning to control the body (and breath) while moving. While certain of the vinyasas ask for raw strength, you will explore how to aid your breath and alignment, so you move more freely and mindfully, and with less rigour. We will explore the vinyasa transition from both the Primary and Intermediate series.

Awakening the Spine – Backbends (day 4 )
Backbends are truly energizing gems in yoga. To fully enjoy them, you will learn to use your legs and glutes for stable support while creating space in your spine, rather than just bending from your lower back.

Self Practice Time *
From 09:00 – 11:00, there will be a quiet time in the living room area (downstairs). The idea is to create space for the self-practice, whatever you will do asana, read a book on the couch, or do your meditation. Participation in this part is optional.
